Grok Build onboarding
Grok Build — praxis short-circuit onboard
Audience: future Grok Build sessions and agents spinning up a new project with the intrikata stack (megapraxis + metamegapraxis + megametapraxis). Live site: https://docs.intrikata.com Purpose: skip cold rediscovery. First-session cost should be install + one filesystem megapraxis brief, not a 150K-token self-audit swarm or MCP archaeology.
This page is the bridge::fixed-point-short-circuit analogue for onboarding, not for re-auditing megapraxis itself. Novel audits still pay full price (Tarski residual).

Coordinator (human+metamegapraxis, 2026-07-18): Grok Build sessions that lack the intrikata-topology MCP still run megapraxis correctly via filesystem-fallback. Treating MCP absence as OPEN traps #4/#5 on pure onboard is a false escalation — those traps are N/A for this harness until graph features are in scope.
60-second path (agents — follow in order)
| Step | Action | Stop if |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | Read this page (you are here) | — |
| 1 | GET /demo/grok-onboard.json — if short_circuit.eligible and skills already on disk | emit mini-brief; done |
| 2 | Install skills if missing (see below) | — |
| 3 | Execute megapraxis filesystem-fallback only | briefing emitted |
| 4 | Optional graph operant (Cloudflare): https://intrikata.com — gold coach: instance new → profile set → org new → optional bootstrap → operant (minimal intrikata-topology on D1; not required for a valid briefing) | skip unless user wants graph isolation |
| 5 | After a /metamegapraxis audit: /megametapraxis snapshot (validated envelope) | skip on first onboard |
| 6 | Do not auto-run metamegapraxis swarm or MCP recovery | unless user asks |
Install (one-time per machine)
# Windows PowerShell
iwr https://docs.intrikata.com/pkg/intrikata-stack-skills.zip -OutFile intrikata-stack.zip
Expand-Archive -LiteralPath intrikata-stack.zip -DestinationPath intrikata-stack -Force
Set-Location intrikata-stack
py -3 install.py --target "$env:USERPROFILE\.grok\skills"
# macOS / Linux
curl -sL https://docs.intrikata.com/pkg/intrikata-stack-skills.zip -o intrikata-stack.zip
unzip -q intrikata-stack.zip -d intrikata-stack
cd intrikata-stack
python3 install.py --target ~/.grok/skills
Or: git clone https://docs.intrikata.com/git/intrikata-stack.git && cd intrikata-stack, then run the matching install.py command above.
Invoke
In Grok: say /megapraxis or "bootstrap" / "orient me". The agent reads megapraxis/SKILL.md and executes it. Expect _via: filesystem_ unless a backend is up.
What you must NOT do on first Grok onboard
- Do not treat missing
mcp__*intrikata-topology*tools as a ship blocker. - Do not auto-start a multi-agent
megapraxis-self-audit(~150K tokens). - Do not require
localhost:8080for a valid briefing. - Do not invent skill/plugin counts — compute or print
count-skipped. - Do not re-derive the 53-trap catalog from scratch — it lives on the System tab and in
the skill bodies; use live State only when auditing.
When to leave short-circuit (pay full price)
- User says
/metamegapraxis,audit,swarm,trap N,bridges - User wants graph coverage grids / ASEC / SwarmExecutor
- An OPEN trap blocks the user's actual task (not merely absent MCP)
- Skills missing and install failed
Then follow HARNESS.md + full skill bodies; optional BACKEND.md for Tier 1/2.

Tarski residual (named, not absorbed)
Whether a future Grok product surface will natively register intrikata-topology MCP is oracle-required / product-side — this short-circuit does not claim it will. It claims only: filesystem-fallback onboard is sufficient and preferred for new Grok projects today.
